Worse than we thought

You know, we might really lose this one. 498 has some explaining to do. Trouble is, he never really learnt to speak the language, and one of his best sources, amazing, is the International Herald Tribune Most of his strategy was built around getting Villepin into the Presidency. he still thinks he can do it. I don't.

Er, maybe not

Lyrans in Paris have been taken aback by the popular reaction to the CPE. Can't see why, the French were always pretty Bolshy about this sort of thing. 498 is looking a bit sheepish, if Lyrans can look sheepish. Watch this space.

Tackling the French

Haven't been involved very much with the French since I've been here, but 498, who is, is getting very irritated that they absorb Lyran propaganda much worse than the Anglo-Saxons. He was angry about the referendum result last year, of course, but delighted that we managed to get a Clone into the Prime Minister's job. Villepin was killed and cloned in 1998, but nobody noticed. Anyway, he reckons that the CPE - taking rights away from young workers - is the way to go, and will start driving the French down the Anglo-Saxon road. I'm not convinced.

Happy 23879th Birthday

I'm wishing myself a happy 23879th birthday. Nobody else will.
